White Line Relief Printmaking Workshop

Rare Opportunity to Learn from a Master of Printmaking

White Line Relief Printmaking is a multi-color printmaking technique innovated by American artists who lived in Cape Cod in the early 1900’s. This printmaking technique requires minimal materials, is portable, can be enjoyed in any small space of your home or studio, and does not require a press, harmful chemicals, or any large equipment. Students will learn how to use basic tools, transfer their subject artwork, carve the block, and hand print. The class will include both demonstrations and hands-on time. Students can expect to complete 2-3 finished blocks and multiple prints as this method is a quick-moving process. No previous printing experience is needed.

The technique of White Line printmaking is easy to learn and requires minimal supplies.
