1993 to Present
In this Linocut, I have been asked to participate in contributing to a portfolio of prints published by the San Francisco Center for the Book. I am one of 18 contributing artists with the theme of "La Loteria." After careful decision, I incorporated my image and use of punches and awls to create "The Moon." this piece uses the zero as a moon, and the butt can also be a moon,...I like the double meaning and overall look of the piece. Each punch mark also resembles the look and feel of the stages of the moons cycle. This print will be made in an edition for the portfolio, and available after December 2010 for purchase.
