1993 to Present
One of my most challenging white line prints to date(as of oct 2009) This whiteline woodcut was carved on a sheet of plywood, and printed on Japanese mulberry paper. The printing process took more than 15 hours to produce one copy. Each space outlined by a white line is hand colored(inked), and then hand printed one at a time. The technical difficulties working with such large paper and plate made for a very time consuming effort. Each print is one of a kind as no color scheme is ever repeated.
